          Product Description
Cat.#:   S216443
Product Name:   Anti-CPT1A Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Synonyms:   CPT1, CPT1-L, L-CPT1
UNIPROT ID:   P50416 (Gene Accession – BC000185 )
Background:    The mitochondrial oxidation of long-chain fatty acids is initiated by the sequential action of carnitine palmitoyltransferase I (which is located in the outer membrane and is detergent-labile) and carnitine palmitoyltransferase II (which is located in the inner membrane and is detergent-stable), together with a carnitine-acylcarnitine translocase. CPT I is the key enzyme in the carnitine-dependent transport across the mitochondrial inner membrane and its deficiency results in a decreased rate of fatty acid beta-oxidation. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human colon cancer tissue using 216443(CPT1A Antibody) at a dilution of 1/20(Cytoplasm, Cell membrane).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 216443(Anti-CPT1A Antibody) at dilution 1/20.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 216443(Anti-CPT1A Antibody) at a dilution of 1/20.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D220478(Anti-CPT1A Antibody) at dilution 1/20.
