Background:    This gene encodes a member of the chondroitin N-acetylgalactosaminyltransferase family. The encoded protein is involved in elongation during chondroitin sulfate synthesis. A related pseudogene has been identified on chromosome X. Transfers 1,4-N-acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc) from UDP-GalNAc to the non-reducing end of glucuronic acid (GlcUA). Required for addition of the first GalNAc to the core tetrasaccharide linker and for elongation of chondroitin chains.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 217137(CSGALNACT2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217137(Anti-CSGALNACT2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue using 217137(Anti-CSGALNACT2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D221862(Anti-CSGALNACT2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
