Background:    This gene is a member of the natriuretic peptide family and encodes a secreted protein which functions as a cardiac hormone. The protein undergoes two cleavage events, one within the cell and a second after secretion into the blood. The protein’s biological actions include natriuresis, diuresis, vasorelaxation, inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion, and a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis. A high concentration of this protein in the bloodstream is indicative of heart failure. Mutations in this gene have been associated with postmenopausal osteoporosis.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 217162(NPPB Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217162(Anti-NPPB Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 217162(Anti-NPPB Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D221900(Anti-NPPB Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
