Background:    This gene encodes a kinase that specifically phosphorylates the N-terminal region of the non-collagenous domain of the alpha 3 chain of type IV collagen, known as the Goodpasture antigen. Goodpasture disease is the result of an autoimmune response directed at this antigen. One isoform of this protein is also involved in ceramide intracellular transport. Three transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 217297(CERT1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217297(Anti-CERT1 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue using 217297(Anti-CERT1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D222132(Anti-CERT1 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
