Background:    This gene is an immediate early gene that encodes a protein related to interferon-gamma. This protein may function as a transcriptional co-activator/repressor that controls the growth and differentiation of specific cell types during embryonic development and tissue regeneration. Mutations in this gene are associated with sensory/motor neuropathy with ataxia. This gene may also be involved in modulating the pathogenesis of cystic fibrosis lung disease. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human colon cancer tissue using 217530(IFRD1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217530(Anti-IFRD1 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue using 217530(Anti-IFRD1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D222532(Anti-IFRD1 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
