Background:    This gene is one of several genes encoding pulmonary-surfactant associated proteins (SFTPA) located on chromosome 10. Mutations in this gene and a highly similar gene located nearby, which affect the highly conserved carbohydrate recognition domain, are associated with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The current version of the assembly displays only a single centromeric SFTPA gene pair rather than the two gene pairs shown in the previous assembly which were thought to have resulted from a duplication.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 217866(SFTPA2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/120(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217866(Anti-SFTPA2 Antibody) at dilution 1/120.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue using 217866(Anti-SFTPA2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/120.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D223262(Anti-SFTPA2 Antibody) at dilution 1/120.
