Background:    This gene encodes a subunit of the conserved oligomeric Golgi complex that is required for maintaining normal structure and activity of the Golgi complex. The encoded protein specifically interacts with the USO1 vesicle docking protein and may be necessary for normal Golgi ribbon formation and trafficking of Golgi enzymes. Mutations of this gene are associated with abnormal glycosylation within the Golgi apparatus. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 218523(COG2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 218523(Anti-COG2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue using 218523(Anti-COG2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D224614(Anti-COG2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
