Product Name:   Anti-GDI2 Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Synonyms:   RABGDIB; HEL-S-46e
UNIPROT ID:   P50395 (Gene Accession – BC005145 )
Background:    GDP dissociation inhibitors are proteins that regulate the GDP-GTP exchange reaction of members of the rab family, small GTP-binding proteins of the ras superfamily, that are involved in vesicular trafficking of molecules between cellular organelles. GDIs slow the rate of dissociation of GDP from rab proteins and release GDP from membrane-bound rabs. GDI2 is ubiquitously expressed. The GDI2 gene contains many repetitive elements indicating that it may be prone to inversion/deletion rearrangements. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human tonsil tissue using 218701(GDI2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/20(Cytoplasm and Cell membrane).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 218701(Anti-GDI2 Antibody) at dilution 1/20.

Gel: 8%SDS-PAGE, Lysate: 40 μg;
Lane 1-2: HT-29 and Jurkat cell lysates;
Primary antibody: 218701(GDI2 Antibody) at dilution 1/250;
Secondary antibody: Goat anti rabbit IgG at 1/8000 dilution;
Exposure time: 15 seconds
