Background:    This gene encodes a serine hydrolase of the AB hydrolase superfamily that catalyzes the conversion of monoacylglycerides to free fatty acids and glycerol. The encoded protein plays a critical role in several physiological processes including pain and nociperception through hydrolysis of the endocannabinoid 2-arachidonoylglycerol. Expression of this gene may play a role in cancer tumorigenesis and metastasis. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding multiple isoforms have been observed for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 220721(MGLL Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40(Cytoplasm and Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 220721(Anti-MGLL Antibody) at dilution 1/40.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue using 220721(Anti-MGLL Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D261919(Anti-MGLL Antibody) at dilution 1/40.
