Background:    Peptidoglycan recognition protein is a protein that in humans is encoded by the PGLYRP1gene. Pattern receptor that binds to murein peptidoglycans (PGN) of Gram-positive bacteria. Has bactericidal activity towards Gram-positive bacteria. May kill Gram-positive bacteria by interfering with peptidoglycan biosynthesis. Binds also to Gram-negative bacteria, and has bacteriostatic activity towards Gram-negative bacteria. Plays a role in innate immunity.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human brain tissue using 220803(PGLYRP1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 220803(Anti-PGLYRP1 Antibody) at dilution 1/40.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 220803(Anti-PGLYRP1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D262043(Anti-PGLYRP1 Antibody) at dilution 1/40.
