Background:    This locus encodes a sodium bicarbonate cotransporter. The encoded transmembrane protein appears to transport sodium and bicarbonate ions in a 1:1 ratio, and is thus considered an electroneutral cotransporter. The encoded protein likely plays a critical role in regulation of intracellular pH involved in visual and auditory sensory transmission. Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been described.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human prostate cancer tissue using 220934(SLC4A7 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm or Cell membrane).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 220934(Anti-SLC4A7 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue using 220934(Anti-SLC4A7 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D262246(Anti-SLC4A7 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
