Background:    This gene encodes a protein that contains a protein kinase domain, a Rhodanase-like domain and the Tre-2/Bub2/Cdc16 (TBC) domain. The encoded protein is thought to play a role in actin organization, cell growth and cell proliferation by regulating the mammalian target of the rapamycin (mTOR) signaling pathway. This protein may also be involved in the transcriptional regulation of the components of the mTOR complex. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human tonsil tissue using 222207(TBCK Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40(Cytoplasm or Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 222207(Anti-TBCK Antibody) at dilution 1/40.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 222207(Anti-TBCK Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D264222(Anti-TBCK Antibody) at dilution 1/40.
