Background:    The protein encoded by this gene acts as a heterodimer with kinesin family member 3A to aid in chromosome movement during mitosis and meiosis. The encoded protein is a plus end-directed microtubule motor and can interact with the SMC3 subunit of the cohesin complex. In addition, the encoded protein may be involved in the intracellular movement of membranous organelles. This protein and kinesin family member 3A form the kinesin II subfamily of the kinesin superfamily.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 222330(KIF3B Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 222330(Anti-KIF3B Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using 222330(Anti-KIF3B Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D264405(Anti-KIF3B Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
