NewEast Biosciences pioneered the research and development of the antibodies for GTPases and mutated Oncogene ten years ago. GTPases involve (1) signal transduction in response to activation of cell surface receptors, including transmembrane receptors such as those mediating taste, smell and vision, (2) protein biosynthesis at the ribosome, (3) regulation of cell differentiation, proliferation, division and movement, (4) translocation of proteins through membranes, (5) transport of vesicles within the cell, and vesicle-mediated secretion and uptake, through GTPase control of vesicle coat assembly. An oncogene is a gene that has the potential to cause cancer.
We offer three unique categories of antibodies, which (1) recognize only the active configuration of GTPase (not the inactive one), (2) mutated Oncogene (not mild type) and (3) have super affinity for cAMP and cGMP (no acetylation required). We have over one thousand peer reviewed articles cited our products.

Anti-RasGTP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody |
Cat. #: 26909 |
Size: 30 µL |
Gene Symbol: RAS |
Description: Anti-Ras-GTP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody |
Background: Small GTPases are a super-family of cellular signaling regulators. Ras belongs to the Ras sub-family of GTPases that regulate cell proliferation, cell motility, and gene transcription. GTP binding increases the activity of Ras, and the hydrolysis of GTP to GDP renders it inactive. GTP hydrolysis is aided by GTPase activating proteins (GAPs), while exchange of GDP for GTP is facilitated by guanine nucleotide exchange factors (GEFs). |
Immunogen: Recombinant full length protein of active H-Ras |
Applications: IP, IHC and IF (Not applicable for SDS since WB denatures Ras GTPase) |

Immunoprecipitation/Western blot: IP/WB Analysis of Active Ras Protein. Purified recombinant Ras proteins were loaded with GDP (lane 1) or GTPγS (lane 2). These proteins were immunoprecipitated with anti-Ras-GTP monoclonal antibody (Cat. # 26909). After SDS/PAGE, the membrane filter was probed with anti-Ras mouse monoclonal antibody (Cat. # 26014). |
