Background:    This gene encodes proteins related to the first discovered blood group system, ABO. Which allele is present in an individual determines the blood group. The ‘O’ blood group is caused by a deletion of guanine-258 near the N-terminus of the protein which results in a frameshift and translation of an almost entirely different protein. Individuals with the A, B, and AB alleles express glycosyltransferase activities that convert the H antigen into the A or B antigen. Other minor alleles have been found for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 220404(ABO Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 220404(Anti-ABO Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using 220404(Anti-ABO Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D261484(Anti-ABO Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
