Background:    This gene reduces the metastatic potential, but not the tumorogenicity, of human breast cancer and melanoma cell lines. The protein encoded by this gene localizes primarily to the nucleus and is a component of the mSin3a family of histone deacetylase complexes (HDAC). The protein contains two coiled-coil motifs and several imperfect leucine zipper motifs. Alternative splicing results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human breast cancer tissue using 221181(BRMS1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm and Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human breast cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 221181(Anti-BRMS1 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using 221181(Anti-BRMS1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D262669(Anti-BRMS1 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
