Background:    This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein localizes to the mitochondrial inner membrane and is involved in the conversion of progesterone to cortisol in the adrenal cortex. Mutations in this gene cause congenital adrenal hyperplasia due to 11-beta-hydroxylase deficiency. Transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been noted for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 217322(CYP11B1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217322(Anti-CYP11B1 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue using 217322(Anti-CYP11B1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D222179(Anti-CYP11B1 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
