Background:    This gene encodes a member of the cytochrome P450 superfamily of enzymes. The cytochrome P450 proteins are monooxygenases which catalyze many reactions involved in drug metabolism and synthesis of cholesterol, steroids and other lipids. This protein likely localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum. When expressed in yeast the enzyme is capable of oxdizing arachidonic acid. It can also catalyze the epoxidation of 22:6n-3 and 22:5n-3 polyunsaturated long-chain fatty acids. This gene is part of a cluster of cytochrome P450 genes on chromosome 19. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human gastric cancer tissue using 218564(CYP4F12 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm and Cell membrane).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human gastric cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 218564(Anti-CYP4F12 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 218564(Anti-CYP4F12 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D224710(Anti-CYP4F12 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
