UNIPROT ID:   O00418 (Gene Accession – BC032665 )
Background:    This gene encodes a highly conserved protein kinase in the calmodulin-mediated signaling pathway that links activation of cell surface receptors to cell division. This kinase is involved in the regulation of protein synthesis. It phosphorylates eukaryotic elongation factor 2 (EEF2) and thus inhibits the EEF2 function. The activity of this kinase is increased in many cancers and may be a valid target for anti-cancer treatment.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 217387(EEF2K Antibody) at a dilution of 1/80(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 217387(Anti-EEF2K Antibody) at dilution 1/80.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 217387(Anti-EEF2K Antibody) at a dilution of 1/80.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D222275(Anti-EEF2K Antibody) at dilution 1/80.
