Background:    The gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) A receptor is a multisubunit chloride channel that mediates the fastest inhibitory synaptic transmission in the central nervous system. This gene encodes GABA A receptor, beta 1 subunit. It is mapped to chromosome 4p12 in a cluster comprised of genes encoding alpha 4, alpha 2 and gamma 1 subunits of the GABA A receptor. Alteration of this gene is implicated in the pathogenetics of schizophrenia. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 221282(GABRB1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 221282(Anti-GABRB1 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue using 221282(Anti-GABRB1 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D262805(Anti-GABRB1 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
