Background:    The product of this gene belongs to the ligand-gated ion channel receptor superfamily. This gene encodes subunit B of the type 3 receptor for 5-hydroxytryptamine (serotonin), a biogenic hormone that functions as a neurotransmitter, a hormone, and a mitogen. This receptor causes fast, depolarizing responses in neurons after activation. It is not functional as a homomeric comple,x but a pentaheteromeric complex with subunit A (HTR3A) displays the full functional features of this receptor.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human gasrtic cancer tissue using 220360(HTR3B Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human gasrtic cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 220360(Anti-HTR3B Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue using 220360(Anti-HTR3B Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human thyroid cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D261428(Anti-HTR3B Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
