Background:    This gene encodes a member of the nucleoporin family that shares 87% sequence identity with rat nucleoporin p58. The protein is localized to the nuclear rim and is a component of the nuclear pore complex (NPC). All molecules entering or leaving the nucleus either diffuse through or are actively transported by the NPC. Alternate transcriptional splice variants, encoding different isoforms, have been characterized.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 218898(NUP58 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 218898(Anti-NUP58 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue using 218898(Anti-NUP58 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/50.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human liver cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D225464(Anti-NUP58 Antibody) at dilution 1/50.
