Background:    This gene is a member of the septin family involved in cytokinesis and cell cycle control. This gene is a candidate for the ovarian tumor suppressor gene. Mutations in this gene cause hereditary neuralgic amyotrophy, also known as neuritis with brachial predilection. A chromosomal translocation involving this gene on chromosome 17 and the MLL gene on chromosome 11 results in acute myelomonocytic leukemia. Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described.[provided by RefSeq, Mar 2009]

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 216358(SEPTIN9 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with the fusion protein and then with 216358(Anti-SEPTIN9 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer tissue using 216358(Anti-SEPTIN9 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human colon cancer tissue is first treated with fusion protein and then with D220270(Anti-SEPTIN9 Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
