Background:    This gene encodes a steroid binding protein that was first described as a plasma protein secreted by the liver but is now thought to participate in the regulation of steroid responses. The encoded protein binds each steroid molecule as a dimer formed from identical or nearly identical monomers. The use of alternate promoters and alternatively spliced transcripts have been described. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 219985(SHBG Antibody) at a dilution of 1/20(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 219985(Anti-SHBG Antibody) at dilution 1/20.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human ovarian cancer tissue using 219985(Anti-SHBG Antibody) at a dilution of 1/20.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human ovarian cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D260732(Anti-SHBG Antibody) at dilution 1/20.
