Background:    This gene encodes a calcium-binding mitochondrial carrier protein. The encoded protein localizes to the mitochondria and is involved in the exchange of aspartate for glutamate across the inner mitochondrial membrane. Polymorphisms in this gene may be associated with autism, and mutations in this gene may also be a cause of global cerebral hypomyelination. Alternatively spliced transcript variants have been observed for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human brain tissue using 214694(SLC25A12 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human brain tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 214694(Anti-SLC25A12 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue using 214694(Anti-SLC25A12 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D162223(Anti-SLC25A12 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
