Background:    This gene encodes a subunit of the small nuclear RNA (snRNA)-activating protein complex that plays a role in the transcription of snRNA genes. This complex binds to the promoters of snRNA genes transcribed by either RNA polymerase II or III and recruits other regulatory factors to activate snRNA gene transcription. The encoded protein may play a role in stabilizing this complex. A pseudogene of this gene has been identified on chromosome 6.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 222109(SNAPC5 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 222109(Anti-SNAPC5 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue using 222109(Anti-SNAPC5 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D264038(Anti-SNAPC5 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
