Background:    This gene encodes a progestin-induced protein, which belongs to the HECT (homology to E6-AP carboxyl terminus) family. The HECT family proteins function as E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases, targeting specific proteins for ubiquitin-mediated proteolysis. This gene is localized to chromosome 8q22 which is disrupted in a variety of cancers. This gene potentially has a role in regulation of cell proliferation or differentiation.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human breast cancer tissue using 222358(UBR5 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/55(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human breast cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 222358(Anti-UBR5 Antibody) at dilution 1/55.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 222358(Anti-UBR5 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/55.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D264469(Anti-UBR5 Antibody) at dilution 1/55.
