Background:    The protein encoded by this gene is a transcription factor that includes several Kruppel-like zinc fingers in its C-terminal region. It possesses both activation and repression domains, and it can therefore have both positive and negative effects on the transcription of target genes. This gene has an intronless coding region, and it appears to have arisen by retrotransposition of the related YY1 transcription factor gene, which is located on chromosome 14.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 215298(YY2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 215298(Anti-YY2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue using 215298(Anti-YY2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human prostate cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D163174(Anti-YY2 Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
