NewEast Biosciences pioneered the research and development of the antibodies for GTPases and mutated Oncogene ten years ago. GTPases involve (1) signal transduction in response to activation of cell surface receptors, including transmembrane receptors such as those mediating taste, smell and vision, (2) protein biosynthesis at the ribosome, (3) regulation of cell differentiation, proliferation, division and movement, (4) translocation of proteins through membranes, (5) transport of vesicles within the cell, and vesicle-mediated secretion and uptake, through GTPase control of vesicle coat assembly. An oncogene is a gene that has the potential to cause cancer.
We offer three unique categories of antibodies, which (1) recognize only the active configuration of GTPase (not the inactive one), (2) mutated Oncogene (not mild type) and (3) have super affinity for cAMP and cGMP (no acetylation required). We have over one thousand peer reviewed articles cited our products.

Anti GαoGTP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody |
Cat. #: 26907 |
Size: 30 µL |
Gene Symbol: Gnao |
Description: Anti Gαo-GTP Mouse Monoclonal Antibody |
Background: Heterotrimeric G proteins are critical cellular signal transducers. Gαo represents one sub-family of G proteins that could mediate the inhibition of adenylyl cyclases. Other biochemical and physiological functions of Gαo proteins are being explored. |
Immunogen: Recombinant full length protein of active Gαo |
Applications: IP, IHC and IF (Not applicable for WB since SDS denatures Gαo GTPase) |
Recommended Dilutions: IP: 1 µg for 1~2 mg total cellular proteins IHC, IF: 1:50-1:250 |
Concentration: 1 mg/ml |
Host Species: Mouse |
Format: Liquid |
Clonality: Monoclonal |
Isotype: IgG1 |
Purity: Purified from ascites |
Preservative: No |
Constituents: PBS (without Mg2+ and Ca2+), pH 7.4, 150 mM NaCl, 50% glycerol |
Species Reactivity: Anti-active Gαo antibody recognizes active Gαo of vertebrates. |
Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing |
Immunoprecipitation/Western blot: Gαo Activation Assay. Purified Gαo proteins were loaded as a control (lanes 1) or immunoprecipitated after treated with GDP (lane 2) or GTPγS (lane 3). Immunoprecipitation was done with the anti-active Gαo monoclonal antibody (Cat. No. 26907). Immunoblot was with an anti-Gαopolyclonal antibody (Cat. No. 21015). |
