Background:    This gene encodes a protein with one SAP domain. This protein binds to cruciform and superhelical DNA and induces positive supercoils into closed circular DNA, and is also involved in splice site selection during mRNA processing. Chromosomal aberrations involving this region, increased expression of this gene, and the presence of antibodies against this protein are all associated with various diseases. Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human tonsil tissue using 221270(DEK Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human tonsil tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 221270(Anti-DEK Antibody) at dilution 1/30.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 221270(Anti-DEK Antibody) at a dilution of 1/30.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D262790(Anti-DEK Antibody) at dilution 1/30.
