Background:    The protein encoded by this gene is a trifunctional polypeptide. It has phosphoribosylglycinamide formyltransferase, phosphoribosylglycinamide synthetase, phosphoribosylaminoimidazole synthetase activity which is required for de novo purine biosynthesis. This enzyme is highly conserved in vertebrates. Alternative splicing of this gene results in two transcript variants encoding different isoforms.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human cervical cancer tissue using 222066(GART Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25(Cytoplasm).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human cervical cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 222066(Anti-GART Antibody) at dilution 1/25.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 222066(Anti-GART Antibody) at a dilution of 1/25.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D263968(Anti-GART Antibody) at dilution 1/25.
