Background:    Component of the AP-1 transcription factor that represses transactivation mediated by the Jun family of proteins. Involved in a variety of transcriptional responses associated with AP-1 such as UV-induced apoptosis, cell differentiation, tumorigenesis and antitumogeneris. Can also function as a repressor by recruiting histone deacetylase 3/HDAC3 to the promoter region of JUN. May control transcription via direct regulation of the modification of histones and the assembly of chromatin.

Immunohistochemistry analysis of paraffin embedded Human lung cancer tissue using 216029(JDP2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40(Nucleus).

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human lung cancer tissue is first treated with the synthetic peptide and then with 216029(Anti-JDP2 Antibody) at dilution 1/40.

The image on the left is immunohistochemistry of paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue using 216029(Anti-JDP2 Antibody) at a dilution of 1/40.

In comparision with the IHC on the left, the same paraffin-embedded Human esophagus cancer tissue is first treated with synthetic peptide and then with D164291(Anti-JDP2 Antibody) at dilution 1/40.
